Chariots of fire arena challenge, august 2025

The last of our 2025 Arena challenges was a huge hit with Saturday's riders able to take home their score sheets for the first time, and Sunday's drivers enjoying the large open course with plenty of opportunities to go fast!

Thank you to all the volunteers, parents and supporters without whom we couldn't run these events. We're already looking forward to 2026 and planning ways we can all have even more fun. If you want to support our work or share a suggestion, then please do fill in our online feedback form.

"My son, as a wheelchair user with severe cerebral palsy, finds carriage driving an incredibly empowering and exhilarating experience. The connection with the horses, the sense of movement and freedom, and being outdoors gives him a deep sense of liberation from his usual mobility challenges. The rhythmic motion of the carriage and the sensation of being part of a strong, moving team is truly wonderful. Mentally, it boosts his confidence and self-esteem, reduces his stress and fills him with joy through the connection with nature and the chance to experience something so unique and different."
